The video Mother’s Waltz is the result of a collaboration with the great American Author and Photographer, Marilyn Armstrong and swo8 Blues Jazz. I feel like Marilyn and her husband Garry are old friends now. The video is our shared effort with photos from both of our families and a tribute to our mothers. To be a mother is one of the most difficult and important endeavours one can undertake. We are given this vulnerable, needy, bundle of humanity and hopefully, within a limited period of time, we impart the values and skills they need to make them successful in life.
