This is for K.G. of Books, Music, Photography & Movies and Marilyn of Serendipity. The two paintings are very stylized. I took the pictures from leather carvings that I found to be interesting. They are both oil on canvas 12″ x 24″. The first one is The Dance and the second one The Flute where the woman is playing an woodwind instrument.
Wow very interesting indeed!

I had a pair of block prints very much like that which came originally from Bali (I think). Those are remarkable and beautiful!

The colouring makes them look like originals dating from who-knows-when Very effective. I wouldn’t mind having these hanging in my house if you want to send them over, Leslie.

Yes, I was trying for a dated look about it. Sorry Gert, I’ve become rather attached to them. I’ll work on something else for you.

Very nice. They are so different being from a culture not like our own.
