Nameste is a greeting that seems to originate in India. In its simple manner, it shows respect, a gentle kindness and offering of good will to others. To the best of my knowledge most of the pictures in this video come from the public domaine except for street scenes of Old Delhi and the flower market in Kolkata, which were taken by me. I wish to offer Nameste to Mohit Tiwari, a gentleman and fellow blogger who offered his help when I mentioned I was working on an album about India. Nameste Mohit. 2:49 min. 2MB.
That’s a nice gesture!

That’s a lovely way to show Namaste . Literally the word means I bow (with respect) to you.

We always say Nameste at the end of yoga classes. It’s a lovely way to go out and get on with life.
