This is for Anna in Sweden and is a 12″ x 9.5″ pencil sketch on paper from a sketch pad and is called “Game of Chess” done in 1983. The opponent has gone off for a drink and the gentleman, on-face with the glasses, is giving the other player “the look”. Maybe someday I do a rendition in oil.draw2

    • I think the guy left there to finish the game was checkmated. It’s all in the other guys eyes. To me they’re saying -“what the heck are you going to do now?” Thanks Victo.
