Winter Scape by L. Martel

This is a 16″ x 20 ” oil on canvas painted in 2018. My children don’t want me to sell this one because it invokes a lot of memories of small town Ontario, Canada to them. There are only about 16 more days left of winter. The days are already becoming longer and milder. No doubt there will be a few more storms but this season is coming to an end. When I look at this painting I think of the days before Christmas when people are hurrying around try to prepare for the holy season. Christmas has come and gone and now we are beginning to think of beauty of the on coming season.

  2. Beautiful painting. So lovely to se real winter landscape. We only have a few snowflakes here that melts immediately. We have spring weather some days and it’s lovely, but I kind of miss the winter season anyway even if I don’t like snow shoveling. I like skiing though and that is not possible here this year.

  3. Bonjour mon ami amie LESLIE
