Part 146:
It was in the scientific dream world of the late 1960โs that I began my career. When I arrived at the train station at Chalk River, after a twelve-hour-long trip from Toronto, I was met by a liveried driver who drove a very long limousine. I remember the evening drive to nearby Deep River very well. Freshly fallen snow lay everywhere in pristine dream-like elegance. It was Christmas. My new world was a wonderful place to be in. I even considered the possibility of getting a photo taken of myself at the rear window of the limousine, with a long cuban cigar in my mouth. It would have made a great picture to send to my old friends in Arichat, to show that I had finally made it.
It would make a great picture for the back of your next book ๐
