To my dismay, I found that between every line of the whole two hundred pages, there was a rewrite in Archie’s fine hand. When I mentioned this to a fellow student, who shall remain anonymous, he said that when you have nothing to say you have to say it well. To add insult to injury, this same prig pointed out that all some Frenchman (Baron Broglie) had to submit for his dissertation, was one page that shook the world of physics, because it referred to one of his papers enunciating the concept of wave-partible duality. My critic added that since I was an Acadian, quite far down the Frankish totem pole, what else could I expect?
