Part 128:

About a week later I was summoned again. He handed me the manuscript saying that the experimental work looked satisfactory but he thought that some revisions in the writing were required. I thanked him and took the two hundred pages home, curious to see where I might not have lived up to Dickens as a standard.

  1. 😉 It always seems to be the same. Supervisors always want corrections. My thesis in theology at the beginning had 400 pages. Lol I had to compress them on 90 pages, because the professor thought i couldn’t give him a doctoral thesis before the diploma. Lol

      • True! 😉 Sure, but it was also a topic for a doctoral thesis. It was about the introduction of state-funded religious education in the newly arrived federal states (Bundesländer) . It was state law, international law. Theology was only marginal work to do. Not to mention that there were fourteen expert opinions of leading state lawyers here. I then contradicted them all. Lol with flying colours. They all got paid well by the Church.;-)
