It is the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month and today we contemplate the lives that have been lost in battle for our countries. This video is a collaboration with the very talented poet, writer and photographer Rajiv Chopra. Rajiv wrote the lyrics to this song and they are graphic and moving. Let us not underestimate the horrors that we send our young men and women into. Let us not enter into this state of war lightly. 3:23 min. 2 MB

Nice post but always seems strange to say on a day like this … We must learn that peaceful dialogue and admitting we are wrong is preferable to war … Amen π

There are somethings worth fighting for, but remove the financial benefits from the multinationals, and there would be precious few reason for going to war.

Could not agree more … but it’s how we fight and the reason is as you say every time money in some form or another … Ironically Marco Polo discovered fireworks in China and as such gunpowder … The rest is history .. Ian

Vivid images of destruction Leslie, as the western nations remember the fallen in the world wars one hopes war can never be an option to settle issues. It must not be only remembering but it must be also a commitment never again to send men and women to lay down their lives.
