Rhodos is the largest island in the Dodecanese, with a population of some 98,000 people. The story goes that the god Helios chose Rhodos as his bride and bestowed upon her light, warmth and vegetation. At some point the ancient Minoans and Mycenaeans had outposts here. Whether the Colossus of Rhodes ever existed is still in question. It was commissioned by Demetrius Poliorketes in 305 B.C. The bronze statue took over 12 years to complete and stood some 32 meters high. The location is still in question, but the entrance to Mandraki Harbour is highly likely. Our adventure began in Rhodos and our quest was to find the Colossus of Rhodos. 3:18 min 2 MB

You were inspired by place. The music is very good and the video as well. I did not know where that was until I saw the video.
