Learning to play a musical instrument requires a lot of practice. That practice will include learning scales. A scale is a series of notes arranged alphabetically from any note to its octive – very much like climbing stairs. A chromatic (meaning coloured) scale consists of all the twelve notes between the octive. All are a semitone apart and all are of equal importance. This piece is just a fun way of presenting the Chromatic scale as Blues.
Well done.

I only have my guitar left. I would have to purchase a piano, trombone, drum kit and my personal favourite, a flute.

Stay with the guitar for now. You probably don’t have much time at the moment. You can expand later to the other instruments. Maybe someday we can do some flute duets.

True. I really don’t have much time right now. I am gutted that I didn’t manage keep up with them.
I would fly to Canada without hesitation for that duet. 😉

It would be a real pleasure. I used to have a friend and we would get together to play duets. The flute has so much potential for duets.

Is that you on flute? I do like that instrument. Yesterday we heard a concert and the flute player was amazing. She also played the piccolo. Your music has a nice beat and soothing quality.

Yes that is me. If you play the flute you usually play the piccolo too and sometimes the Saxophone. I play both flute and the piccolo. I’d love to try the Saxophone. Maybe someday.
