It was September of 2013 when we had a two week sojourn in Moscow. Hotels are very expensive there, so the four of us rented a two bedroom apartment near Tverskya Ulitsa which is near Pushkin Square. It is a ten minute walk to the Kremlin and Red Square. The weather was particularly cold and rainy that September so it hampered our activities. We bought our groceries every day at the store and got a feel for the people and the place. One of the nicest places we saw was the Tretyakov Gallery which is a magnificent art gallery. On occasion we went out to dinner and discoverd this little restaurant near our place called Da Pino Restaurant. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and there was an undeniable ambience. It had a piano man there who was quite the “player”.
