Ranakpur by swo8 Blues Jazz from the album Black Taj

The music begins with the roar of a tiger. We were warned not to wander far into the woods at night because of the wild life there.

Ranakpur is a village in the district of Rajasthan, India, and is widely known for for its marble, Jain Temples. Jainism was founded in the 6th century B.C. as a revolt against the current Hinduism. It emphasized the perfectability of human nature and the liberation of the soul. They are especially nonviolent toward all living creatures.

The stone work is phenomenal as is the engineering of these temples. Notice the Buddha sitting atop Ganesh?
